This is on a menu.
I understand it means they serve the fish that is available at certain times depending on what has been caught that day/week, but I can't think of a phrase that captures this in English.
'Freshly caught fish' could be any kind of fish, just freshly caught, and would not limit the selection of fish to something dictated by nature/fishermen (which I assume the restaurant wants to come across as a good thing, comparable to 'seasonal vegetables').
I'd be grateful for ideas! Thanks!
