Ağzıma ağzıma vurun

Non-PRO Turkish to English Other Idioms / Maxims / Sayings Idiom
"#agzimaagzimavurun hashtagından takip edebilirsiniz beni." This is an email I received from a friend, showing the Turkish 'abominations' we can find on twitter; I find it difficult to understand. I get the meaning: 'knock the shit out of me, you can follow me via hashtag' but that is probably very much off the mark.

I don't know about that last question ... Turkish slang - as I suppose slang in all languages does - moves so fast, so anything is possible, although I have never encountered it.

However, the following explanation may be worth considering:

"Yanakları yanlardan bir elle sıkıp ortaya çıkan dudak bölgesine "pıt" sesi çıkartacak şekilde vurmaktır."

I have tries this out on myself - you don't have to hit hard, just tap -
and it works!

Does ağzıma vurmak mean in slang something like "to talk about things that you do not know much about. "?
Tim Drayton May 7, 2014:
Reduplication Then technical name in linguistics for this phenomenon is 'reduplication'. It is a more common feature of Turkish than most European languages.

That is to strengthen the meaning... and/or repetition...

Why two ağzıma's? Is this just another hashtag feature?

smack me right in the mouth/face

The British and English speaking countries rather hit the face then the mouth specifically.. that is what I think anyway...

Punch my mouth

Since it is just a hashtag, it does not have to be meaningful.
