I am not sure if I have worded this the best way. Any ideas? It deals with the indemnity clause of a provisions contract. Spanish to English.
Para el caso de que el suministrado demore hacerse cargo de las mercancías, el vendedor podrá constituir depósito judicial. -
My attempt:
In the event that the recipient delays taking charge of the merchandise, the seller shall be able to establish a legal storage facility.-

: The vendor is not going to 'pay' anything to anyone. He is going to have the goods taken into custody of the court, making them the (potential) object of a claim against the buyer.
