: rifo, pardon, ché ho fatto casino: "chiamare a rispondere/rendere conto del..." + che snellire mi suona meglio. "chi detiene il potere" appesantisce (chi+chi, de+de). "la direzione/i responsabili del giornale"? (si tratta di loro?) "potere" e basta? :-)

: riguardo ai "potenti" (che mi sa di "potenti della terra", appunto, come mi confermi), intendevo che forse è un obiettivo un po' ambizioso per un forum, forse il "power" è di livello più modesto, ma non saprei quale sia... :-)

per i potenti, secondo me si usa e "della terra" è sottinteso/beh, non è tanto questione di forum o articolo, ed il Guardian usa spesso quest'espressione. Significa comunque i potenti, ministri, presidenti gente che detiene il potere come dice Cora
