top of the pier The main problem is that the buoy's guide wires (4mm diameter) are too thin. Over the length of over 6m from the top of the pier to the bottom bracket they are just far too stretchy. Good question, Jacek. I assume thirdwitch - the only Polish-speaking member of the coven foretelling Macbeth's becoming king - considered the platform-bridge question. There is a reservoir here, so a bridge fits. Work platforms are usually flat, so they do not have the bow/arch of a crested structure.

Pomosty czyli co- ja się pogubiłem. Pomostem może byc working platform np. Ponadto czemu 'bridge' w tym przypadku? Przyznaję, że nic nie rozumiem...

Top of the bridge is another option, perhaps safer, given all the dental bridges that come to mind. "crest of the bridge" would also work.
