Swedish term
Gestaltning
Swedish to English
Social Sciences
Education / Pedagogy
I am looking for an umbrella term. In the context of courses and research at a university.
I know it can be translated as design, performance, interpretation, etc and usually its possible to switch depending on context , but here I am pushed somehow to find an umbrella term .eg Gestaltning as pedagogical method, kunskapsgestaltning, Innehållsdriven gestaltning etc etc !
Thoughts gratefully received

structuring
This would seem to fit quite well with your context, Donald's examples and the definition at e.g. http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gestalt
It is generic enough to work as an umbrella term and expresses the structuring activity that seems to be inherent to all instances of gestaltning.
At the first mention of the word, add the Swedish term in parentheses.
