agree  Charles Ek: More examples – http://tinyurl.com/nuc8597. But be careful with this concept. In British and American law, a defendant has very few burdens, and it is up to the prosecution to prove each and every element of a crime. (The exceptions include self defense.)

Notes to answerer
Asker: I think this is "bevisbörda". There seems to be a difference between these two terms. I have found the following definition of the term in Swedish: "En förklaringsbörda innebär att om den tilltalade underlåter att förklara en för honom graverande omständighet så kan denna underlåtenhet ligga honom till last".
