W tekście polskojęzycznym dot. produktu typu TempTooth produkt ten jest określany mianem "(tymczasowego) implantu (kosmetycznego)". Firma TempTooth reklamuje swój produkt zaś jako "tooth replacement (solution)". Nie jest to oczywiście implant sensu stricte, stąd moje pytanie - czy nie będzie błędem rzeczowym przetłumaczyć "implant" jako "implant"?

Usually the temporary crown is constructed from a chemical-cure composite, although alternative systems using aluminium crown forms are occasionally used. The temporary material is shaped by the dentist to form a tooth shape that protects the prepared tooth, prevents damage to the periodontal tissues (gums) and disguises the prepared tooth to a degree until the definitive crown can be made by a dental technician.
