Spanish term

puntas vibroincisoras

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Other Art etc. restoration
From a text on handling works of art and other heritage objects on metal, in the section on their cleaning...

The nearest I can get to "vibroincisora" is vibro-teeth but theese appear to be combs used to remove lice - not really approriate. I also thought of vibroblade but that's Star Wars - World of Warcraft vocab it seems

Any ideas?

Discussion

Helena Chavarria Aug 19, 2015:
In archaeology: Wooden tongue depressors and dental picks, just like the kinds you see at your doctor and dentists' offices, are often used at archaeological sites. I won't post the link because it's not relevant in this case.
Helena Chavarria Aug 19, 2015:
The problem is that in dentistry ART means Atraumatic Restorative Treatment, which makes it difficut to research.
William Pairman (asker) Aug 19, 2015:
Could be... It says they're using dental tools in art restoration - the article is about cleaning and restoring some very fragile metal pieces
Helena Chavarria Aug 19, 2015:
I've just removed my answer because I thought I had misunderstood what you were asking but on second thoughts, I think it might be right.

(Ultrasonic) scaler tips are used in dentistry, though I can't find any reference to them being used to restore art.
