English term

one place a block on top of another block

English Other Gaming/Video-games/E-sports
"I call that one, Symphony in E. A new composition to celebrate my newest discovery! This time, I observed one place a block on top of another block. Rudimentary, yes. But a sign of undeniable intelligence! I hope I’m not imagining things. Goodness knows, it’s happened before. I -- better eat something. I’m positively lightheaded with excitement!"

I can't really understand the fragment - please advise!
It's from Minecraft, where the whole world consists of blocks.
Yet it's not clear to me what this guy (a very intelligent builder and researcher) means.

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Edith Kelly

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

@Andrew See here: http://www.englishgrammar.org/verbs-perception/

"observe" is a verb of perception; using an infinitive will make clear that the entire action - from start to finish - was being watched by the observer.

There's nothing more.
As for the context... Well, there is a group of characters who are looking for this guy (the builder). They get to his place and hear music. And then they hear his voice. But it turns out that this is a record: he recorded his voice while he was doing his researches or something.

Could you post the preceding text, please? It may be helpful...
Andrew Vdovin (asker) Oct 29, 2015:
"That one" is a musical piece.
James A. Walsh Oct 29, 2015:
Preceding text: what is "that one"? As in, "I call that one, Symphony in E"
