I'd go with a literal translation. It doesn't get many hits, but the German gets only one. It may be significant that all the English hits relate either to tractors or vintage pickup trucks.

The California Environmental Engineering conducted a scientific test comparing a new air filter, a rebuilt air filter, and a wet-washed air filter, against an air filter cleaned by the Sonic Dry Clean process, to determine which filter performed the best in reducing particulate pollution.
The results were simply amazing. The filter cleaned by Sonic Dry Clean was nearly three times more effective in reducing particulate pollution than the wet washed filter; was much more effective than the rebuilt air filter; and was even more effective than the brand new filter. In fact, the brand new filter emitted 15,000 particles per cubic foot more than the air filler cleaned by Sonic.
