U ovjerenoj preslici rodnog lista ili upisa činjenice rođenja iz UK se na kraju navodi:
“I, xy, Registrar of Births and Deaths for the Sub-district of xy, in the County of xy, do hereby certify that this is a true copy of the entry No. x in the Register of Births for the said Sub-district, and that such Register is now legally in my custody.“
Molila bih pomoć pri definiranju posljednjeg dijela “...and that such Register is now legally in my custody“ te ispravak ako sam netočno prevela prvi dio i to kao: “Ja, (potpis nečitak), matičar podokruga xy (utisnuto pečatom), u OKRUGU xy (utisnuto pečatom) potvrđujem da je ovo preslika unosa br. x (pisano rukom) u Matičnoj knjizi rođenih navedenog podokruga te da je ta Matična knjiga...“ tu slijedi zadnji dio rečenice.

doslovce: ja sam sada zakonito "staratelj" te matične knjige // da sam ja taj koji je zakonito ima u posedu/državini ... ja sam taj koji čuva dotičnu matičnu knjigu / ja se staram o dotičnoj matičnoj knjizi (ta matična knjiga je verovatno odavno ispunjena do poslednjeg lista, tako nije u pitanju "vođenje" matične knjige, nego samo "čuvanje" )
Sounds like an unusual as formulation - it's possible that this "Register of Births" is an old one, initially held in a different Registry, and that due to boundary changes or merging of Registries it ended up in a different Registry from the one in which it was initially kept.
doslovce: ja sam sada zakonito "staratelj" te matične knjige // da sam ja taj koji je zakonito ima u posedu/državini ... ja sam taj koji čuva dotičnu matičnu knjigu / ja se staram o dotičnoj matičnoj knjizi (ta matična knjiga je verovatno odavno ispunjena do poslednjeg lista, tako nije u pitanju "vođenje" matične knjige, nego samo "čuvanje" )
