Norma Brasileira Judith, essa definição - Grau de Fundamentação - foi estabelecida em uma norma brasileira (ABNT NBR
14653-2). Sendo uma norma nacional, acho que dificilmente você encontrará um equivalente exato em inglês (posso estar enganado, é claro).

O contexto é suficiente, na minha opinião. Foi suficiente para localizar a definição e ter uma ideia clara do que se trata. Agora é só acharmos o termo mais apropriado para traduzir o conceito.

Deixei a minha sugestão com base em um conceito semelhante já usado em outras áreas.
