Helpful Charles, your help is highly appreciated. I will continue searching, and sure will ask the client for any helpful info. Many thanks for your valuable time :)
Charles Davis Apr 30, 2016:
Maybe yes, maybe no How do we know it means the same thing in both places?
Piyush Ojha Apr 30, 2016:
Page 13 of this tender notice requires the supplier to supply an item of electrical machinery with a name plate containing 'W/D No. 3WD/Epacmc/1.1-12872R1':

Doesn't help much but casts doubt on 'warehouse/distribution number'.
Charles Davis Apr 30, 2016:
In this case I agree.
philgoddard Apr 30, 2016:
It could be anything. I don't think there's any point guessing. I'd ask the customer.
Charles Davis Apr 30, 2016:
And in printing "draft" is a word that suggests a version of the text, whereas this seems to be a proof of a definitive text.
Charles Davis Apr 30, 2016:
@Ehab It could be work draft, though a draft number with six digits sounds a bit unlikely. You would expect drafts to be numbered 1, 2, 3 etc. I don't see why they would assign a serial number to drafts of a particular job. But we don't have any evidence to go on, so who knows?
Ehab Tantawy (asker) Apr 30, 2016:
Thanks Stefano and Charles! Dear Prozian Peers :)
One of the suggestions I've received in the AR section is Work Draft. What is your 2 cents regarding this?? I see this may be near as it is a document that requires an approval, so drafting makes some sense?

warehouse/distribution number

I have to admit that this is not much more than a guess, but I think it could be right and I can't find anything else that might be followed by a six-digit number.

I've found an example of "W/D no." on a proof of artwork for a pharmaceutical product. There is a section called "Artwork Info", which contains "Part No.", "W/D No.", "Customer" and "Product", and then a section called "Size Info", which contains details of the printing itself:
http://www.hpra.ie/img/uploaded/swedocuments/2158569.PA0294_...

So "W/D No" doesn't seem to be anything to do with the size. It is more to do with the basic information on the order.

"Warehouse/Distribution" occurred to me because it's one of the relevant things that "W/D" can stand for and it seems to me to make sense in the context; it is plausible that they should assign a warehouse and distribution number to an order:

"W/D = Warehouse/Distribution"

That's a very good idea, Ehab. It seems that the company is MWV, which is Meadwestvaco Healthcare Packaging Ltd. The address is in Dublin. Apparently it has now merged with another company called Rock Tenn to form Westrock. Their phone number is on the document, or you could probably contact them through this page and ask them what W/D means, giving them a link to the document I've quoted or your own:

Maybe this page would be the best one to use, because you're not a potential customer:

Note from asker:
Unbelievable Charles!!! Oooh! Do you know that the artwork you sent here is for the same company designed the artwork I am already holding here!!!! it seems an abbreviation belongs to them or something like that. I think that I will try to contact them right now! Many thanks Charles!
I do not know how could I thank you?? Actually this is the same result I found here and sent a clarification/query to their Healthcare section just right now. I think we did the same :) I am interesting in their answer and will let you know bro.

weekday number

And it is only 1-6 and not 1-7 because Sunday is excluded in "weekday"

But I cannot be sure it is this.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Charles Davis : I suspect that 123456 is a dummy number Ehad has used. I've found examples with other numbers (e.g. 139138).
