In general, a 'big deal' might be translated by the notion of « c'est énorme ! » BUT in a speicifcall food context (as well as certain other marketing situations), a 'deal' can also mean some kind of a bargain, promotion, etc.
The word is obviously popular in a food context because it lends itself to catchy expressions lige 'big meal deal' etc.
Hence the play on words: not only is this something really big and interesting, it is also a bargain.
