Die sogenannten Flügellattenroste sind die teuerste Variante des Lattenrostes. Sie gelten auch als die hochwertigsten Lattenroste. Im Grunde wurde hier der Tellerlattenrost weiter entwickelt. Beim Flügellattenrost liegen ebenfalls bewegliche Teller vor. Diese werden jedoch auf Glasfaserleisten gelagert. Diese sind auf einem Rahmen ähnlich dem Federholzrahmen befestigt.
