The two adjectives we normally use to describe hair. Another less used possibility is "frizzy".

Hello, it has been 7 months or so since i had 1200 FUE transplant. the growth is pretty good, more then a few inches and I've had it cut several times. However, the hair is wavy and curly and my hair is not like this normally, also the scalp is bumpy. Is this normal and when can i expect my hair to act normal again and when will my scalp be smooth? I'm staring to become very concerned and regretting this whole ordeal. thanks,

It is not uncommon for the new transplanted hairs to be curly. Often these will straighten within three to four months.

It is not unusual to see the that the transplanted hair is more wavy than it was prior to the hair transplant. Most people with straight hair love this change, although it is not common (less than 30% of such patients I would guess). As far as the bumpy description, I would go back to your doctor and ask him about it so that he can examine you to determine just what it is.
