I have problems with a PASQYRË E NOTAVE from Kosova. I wonder if the source mathematics are correct.

Discussion

Thanks, Sherefedin... That's what I thought. And the word semestral doesn't exist in the official form that I found at www.academia.edu. -- It's a mystery (to me) that exactly this part of the pasqyra form has different and erroneous texts from different faculties. In my source text there was another error, "semester" instead of "sistema", but that's an exception, all the other forms I have seen are correct everywhere except for the explanation of kohëzgjatja.

Noun vs Adjective semestër - noun
semestral(e) - adjective

Math problem solved On the web, I found several cases of errors in Pasqyra e notave from different faculties, but finally I found also the official version without errors. So my problem with kohëzgjatja is solved. This is the correct version:

(2) Kohëzgjatja e lëndës mësimore/kursit:
V = 1 vit akademik të plotë
1S = 1 semester 2S = 2 semestera
1T = 1 periudhë/tremestër 2T = 2 periudha/tremestra

Semestër - semestrale - Mbiemër Both semestër and semestrale have the same meaning and in your case they are used as adjectives.

I see now that the last part of my question was deleted by proz.com. I tried to point out what I felt was wrong. 1S and 1T in the source are the same, if semestra and semestrale are the same.

Semester and semestrale are synonyms? Thanks for your answers, Parid and Klemi. You give me one word while there are two variants, semester and semestrale? A noun and an adjective?

Furthermore, when I compare with the Swedish ECTS form, semester is called "term of half a year" (semester = six months) which is important since terms in Sweden are shorter.

And last but not least, how about the maths, do you agree with me that the source has errors?

In an earlier translation, the source was different:

"1T = 1 periudhë/tre semestra mq:ch val=" "/ 2T = 2 periudha/tremestra" where "tre semestra" is said to be equal to "tremestra" (since tremester should be three months, not six)

which also looks like an error to me.

Total confusion here.
