German term
wie beispielsweise einer Vorlese bei Silvaner in unseren Ersten Lagen
German to English
Marketing
Wine / Oenology / Viticulture
Harvesting grapes during the wine season
"Hauptlese" is nothing to do with reading, but means "(main) harvest" in this context.
"Vorlese"? I have not found one reference to the word on all my main sources which does not refer to "reading" in some context or other. They all sound wrong to me.
"Lese" is a "harvest". But a "pre-harvest" or similar? I have never encountered such an expression.

: "Early pick" or "first pick", e.g. "For example they do an early pick of approximately 25 percent of the fruit when it's approximately 13 Baumé" (http://www.torbwine.com/pf/TORB's%20trials%20tribulations%20and%20joys%20of%20touring%20Western%20Australia2.

Early vintage or early harvest wines
"Experts say that due to the climate change, it is easy to note that every time we harvest earlier. It may be true, but in this case, it will affect equally to all productions more or less, so we could not then talk of early vintage wines." http://blog.uvinum.co.uk/early-harvest-wines-2284486

early harvest of Silvaner from our first class vineyards
Most of the "first class" vineyards of the 1861 classification were made into Grand Cru appellations d'origine contrôlées when the national AOC legislation was implemented in 1936.[1]
ERSTE LAGE designates first-class vineyards with an autonomous profile.
