German term

Anschußscheibe

German to English Tech/Engineering Military / Defense Military weapons (rifles)
A legal document talking about a rifle not shooting straight. One sentence reads:
"Die Trefferleistung jeder Waffe ist (..) auf die Anschußscheibe unter folgenden Bedingungen zu ermitteln:"

I cannot find a translation on the internet for "Anschußscheibe". The only thing that comes to mind is "shooting target".
But is there any better alternative out there ?

Thanks in advance.

I think it is important to get across the element of -scheibe in your sentence.

sight-in target

It's a target used to calibrate your gunsight rather than measure your shooting skills. My first reference shows what it looks like.

end plate on actual weapon

My understanding is that "Anschussscheibe" refers to somewhere on the actual weapon to let the shooter know how far it can actually shoot.
Note from asker:
I don't think this is right in my particular context. Further down in the text it talks about the distance from the "Rohrmündung bis Scheibe: 200 m" so the "Scheibe" is somewhere further away. THANKS for the input though.
