Italian term

c/partita attiva

Italian to English Bus/Financial Accounting Financial statement
I am translating some financial statements and I have come across the term "c/partite attive" in the balance sheet item "Banche *c/partite attive* da liquidare". I presume that "c/partite" stands for "contropartite, but I am not sure what this item is.
All suggestions are welcome.
