English term

Crate

English to Italian Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering
Good morning guys :) i'm translating a patent about crates and more specifically re-usable crates for the transport of motor vehicles. The translations that i've found all translate it as "cassa" o "gabbia" da imballaggio o di spedizione. I don't agree with those because it is not a proper "cassa" or "gabbia", is more like a "carcassa" for me. Which wold be the best term?
Thank you in advance for the help, i leave the patent number in order for you to see the drawings and understand what i'm meaning :)
Patent Number: EP 3010837
Go to this site https://register.epo.org/advancedSearch?Ing=en and insert the number in the part of the "Publication number" and then click the B1 patent specification above the orange number.

Cassone/Imballaggio

certainly not "carcassa", that is not the term you want to use
Note from asker:
Grazie Gianni
ovviamente carcassa non era intesa come quella degli animali, ovviamente

cassa

Perché non cassa? Se usano "Kiste" in tedesco e "Caisse" in francese...

Note from asker:
Grazie mille Daniele
mi è venuto il dubbio perchè la maggior parte delle volte i vari titoli nelle diverse lingue non coincidono con quello in italiano ed ognuno (francesi e tedeschi) li traduce un pò come vuole
