La verdad, podríamos decir "a un corto paseo del estadio", "a unos pasos del Estadio Universitario", "a unos minutos del estadio", "muy cerquita del estadio", "a una o dos cuadras (o manzanas) del estadio"-

No es el "Steward Observatory" a lo que se refiere, sino al "Mirror Laboratory", donde construyen los espejos.
Está justo al sur, "justo al pie" del estadio, como bien dice el original...
