House Excess

English to Spanish Bus/Financial Finance (general) House excess
Buenas noches, colegas.

Espero que se encuentren muy bien. Quería consultarles qué entenderían por House Excess dentro del ámbito financiero? El contexto es el siguiente:
"subject to Rule 8(d) of the Default Rules, no amounts standing to the credit of such accounts (other than HOUSE EXCESS and, to the extent not already included in the relevant Clearing Member Current Collateral Balance, Client Buffer) shall be applied in or towards payment or satisfaction of all or any of the Member’s liabilities to the Clearing House on any one or more of the Member’s Client Accounts."

Tengo entendido que House excess es "A term used to describe the amount you are in excess of the minimum margin requirements based on the last days closing price of your portfolio." - O sea, un exceso/excedente... pero ¿y house? ¿será agencia?

¡Gracias!

House would refer to the Agency o Agent who does the trading for the client. A client has to have a minimum amount for trading with a broker or agent.
Note from asker:
Thank you so much Nigel! I pretty much understand now the concept.
