There's a new proxy service called Web Application Proxy.
It actually replaces the old AD FS Proxy role, which all it did was provide form spaced off in the past and it also provided the ability
to reverse proxy AD FS.

die "role" Funktion des alten Proxy bestand lediglich darin, ein Formular mit ein paar Feldern zu liefern. Im Deutschen passt der Singular nicht.

Another useful way that you can utilize a WAP server is when setting up Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) in your network.
There are two different ways that users can authenticate to applications that are being
published by Web Application Proxy: Preauthentication or pass-thru authentication.
