Pozycja w amerykańskim menu "Lemon or Cherry Fruit Ice" w kategorii "Sweats and Treats". Myślałem początkowo, że to po prostu zwykłe lody owocowe, ale w menu znajdują się już lody (klasycznie jako Ice Cream). Czy to mogą być mrożone owoce (odpowiednio cytryna i wiśnie)? Będę bardzo wdzięczny za pomoc.

@All Dziękuję wszystkim za pomoc. Wybrałem odpowiedź Katarzyny (popratą przez Magdę), ale myślę, że pozostałe też są poprawne. Na meksykańskiej plaży będą to owoce z lodem, a w pewnych sytuacjach kostki lodu z zamrożonymi w nich owocami. Jeszcze raz okazuje się, jak ważną kulturo- i językotwórczą rolę pełnie jedzenie, nawet jeśli są to tylko lody wodne.

lody wodne albo granita? Fruit ice to w zasadzie mrożony sok, jeżeli to jest w menu zasiadanym to raczej nie będzie to ice-lolly/popsicle do lizania i jest możliwe że ma formę bardziej ''slushy'', ''granita'' wtedy może by pasowała (w UK ludzie by zrozumieli, nie wiem jak w US).

Sorbet zawiera białko z jajka, fruit ice (water ice) w zasadzie nie powinien (ważne dla wegan i alergików).

Nie wiem co to jest, ale ice lolly i ice pop są tożsame.

Lody wodne owocowe

Może jest też inna nazwa, ja znam je jako lody wodne. Należy pamiętać, że anglojęzyczne kraje za ice-cream uważają lody na bazie mleka. A takie zmrożone wodne lody u nas w UK nazywają 'ice lolly'.

Pierwszy raz się natknąłem, ale coś takiego istnieje:
Fresh Fruit Ice Trio: Lime, Watermelon & Pineapple. Street vendors throughout Mexico's beach towns sell cold fresh fruit served in a plastic bag with bits of ice in it to keep the fruit chilled. Dodatkowo, jak widać na zdjęciach (https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/super-easy-fruit-ice-cre... może chodzić o lody z owocami, ale w kontekście zapytania trudno sobie wyobrazić lody z cytryną.
