Anclaje: Para utilizar tu teléfono celular para conectarte a una computadora portátil o tablet, primero tienes que tener algún tipo de servicio de datos disponible a través de tu plan de celular. En algunos casos, los proveedores explícitamente alientan el anclaje, proporcionando los cables que conectan el teléfono al dispositivo para una fácil instalación. Si no tienes un cable, es posible que necesites conectar los dos dispositivos a través de Bluetooth para recibir una señal. Se trata de esta solución de Cisco para "Mobility", su solución de roaming en Redes Inalámbricas de Área Local (Wireless LAN).
Del texto en la página web:
"Inter-subnet roaming is similar to inter-controller roaming in that the controllers exchange mobility messages on the client roam. However, instead of moving the client database entry to the new controller, the original controller marks the client with an “Anchor” entry in its own client database. The database entry is copied to the new controller client database and marked with a “Foreign” entry in the new controller. The roam remains transparent to the wireless client, and the client maintains its original IP address."
