How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Este é normalmente um protesto que o advogado de uma das partes faz quando o advogado da outra faz um discurso ou afirmações que vão além do interrogatório à testemunha que está no banco - ou seja, o advogado está a testemunhar em vez da testemunha, papel que não lhe cabe.
Trata-se de uma artimanha para afirmar os seus argumentos como factos, para fortalecer a sua "tese" sobre os acontecimentos, fazer com que o júri ouça coisas que de outra forma a testemunha não iria dizer, etc.
Se esta é a situação, creio que a minha sugestão é válida. Se diz que a afirmação se refere ao que a testemunha está a dizer... pois, não sei. Neste caso, protestar porque a testemunha está a testemunhar parece um pouco bizarro.
Por favor, verifique exatamente a quem se refere esta "objection".

Penso que há várias formas de traduzir estas expressões. Também já vi "objection" como "protesto" (verbo).
Também entendo "testify" como "to testify under oath", ou seja lembrar à testemunha que está sob juramento e que qualquer falsa declaração que preste é punível.
