Hue

Non-PRO English to French Art/Literary Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting Colors
Hello,

I need to translate "Hue" into French and in the color wheel and I don't know what it means. Is that "teinte" ?! but "tint colors" already exist in the picture.

@ Asker David has given you the standard translation of what 'hue' is — "what colour it is"; 'tint', on the other hand, when being used technically, normally means "how saturated the colour is" — like 'a pale tint of red' etc. — this would not normally be 'teinte' in FR.
