Spanish term

nota de anuencia

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): philgoddard

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Lydianette Soza (asker) Dec 4, 2018:
Hello Muriel,

Actually, it is in the document I am translating.

Muriel Vasconcellos Dec 3, 2018:
Asker: Which document? Are you saying that the approval from the Ministry has a stamp, etc.? Or is it the doc you are translating? I work for PAHO/WHO, and I just can't imagine that the Ministry's approval would still be in that format.

approval/authorisation

You can leave out "nota de", as it's unlikely to be a piece of paper.

Note from asker:
Actually, Bigedsenior is right. The document has a stamp, a reference code and a signature.
Peer comment(s):

neutral AllegroTrans : could it not be a circular?

No. We don't have the context, but it's someone applying to incur expenditure for something.
neutral bigedsenior : Anything conferring authority is going to be a note, memo, letter. and, in Esp countries the document is going to have a number of rubber stamps and various signatures on it.

It doesn't matter, it's still an approval/authorization.

Note of approval/letter of approval

As bigedsenior says, official approvals of anything are normally given in writing:

On receipt of approval of EIC, Agency In Charge shall issue ‘formal letter of approval‘ to the concerned unit with a copy to MPEDA, Commissioner of Customs and to the concerned sub-office with an endorsement to EIC as per Annexure VIII (page No.126-127)
