@Mark O contrato é de uma Sociedade Anônima (SA), ou de uma Sociedade Limitada (Ltda)? As "Ltda" não podem emitir valores mobiliários e ter ações negociadas na bolsa. As "SA" podem emitir valores mobiliários então se são "shareholders" (acionistas) ou "members" (quotistas) vai depender do tipo da empresa criada.

Thanks for this! The reason I used member shareholder is that there are separate occurrences of "socio" and "quotista" throughout the document. I do not understand shares very well, so would you be able to tell me if as long as a person holds a share (however small) in a company, would he be considered a sócio or just a quotista or are they both the same thing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
