I thought that rasata/e was a mistake, as I have just translated a whole frigging catalogue of these cement-based and hydraulic lime plaster things. Rasato literally means a "skimmed or levelled" base coating before applying the final finishing coating. You were lucky because a friend who is an edile geometra or geometra edile in the Italian Airforce told me that it should probably be "rasato".
