Phosphoransatz

German to English Tech/Engineering Livestock / Animal Husbandry Feeder pigs, nutrients
I am not sure what this means. It's in a table, and the value is given in g/animal (in this case feeder pigs). P-Aufnahme, Zunahmen, P-Ausscheidung, P-Gehalt are also in this table and I know what all of them mean. I'm guessing phosphorus incorporation or utilization.

Might this not be ... ... "phosphorus accumulation" (as in "angesetzt")? IOW the lower the accumulation, the higher the excretion - perhaps the figures bear this out.

Accretion sounds good, thanks! Ansatz can have so many different meaning but given the context, I assume it meant something along the lines of retention, assimilation, etc. in this specific case.
