Hello, I have some difficulties with a phrasal verb in English. Context is a teachers and town council meeting about schools in the area. This is a translation into Spanish Castilian.
It goes like this:
Your kindergarten class is about 300 students larger than your 12th grade class. So just in the roll up alone, you should have some growth.
Is the roll up thing that gives me trouble. My try:
Sus clases de jardín de infancia tienen unos 300 estudiantes más que las clases de 12º grado, por lo que solo con ¿la inscripción? deberíamos ver algo de crecimiento.
Help please.
Thanks.

After looking in several different sources, including monolingual dictionaries and more than one thesaurus, I think that "roll up" in this context may very well mean "increase". I believe it refers to the increase in students that is mentioned in the previous sentence. I hope that helps.

I think the teacher is saying that class sizes will increase just from 1st graders advancing ("rolling up") to second grade, etc.
