Virus Hepatitis C C1 Ausente

Hola, estoy traduciendo unos análisis clínicos de hepatitis C. Dentro del análisis figura C1 Ausente, C2 Ausente, NS3 Ausente.
Quisiera saber si ese "Ausente" se traduce como "Negative" o como "Absence" u otra opción. Al final del resultado dice "Interpretación: NEGATIVO". Es por eso mi duda si ausente es igual a negativo o no.
