Espero que puedan ayudarme con una expresión al español relacionada con un acuerdo de distribución de equipos médicos: “Servicing”. Me confunde si es solo “servicio” o “servicio técnico”. Muchas gracias:
“Installation and Servicing:
Distributor should install the products for its customers and perform all required servicing, including preventative maintenance, during and after the warranty period. All such services shall be performed to Company’s standards and specifications. On a monthly basis, Distributor provide Company X the number of completed installations of an instrument that is included in the list of Products and the names of the customers to which the installations relate.”

Entiendo tu confusión para pensar que se trata de un servicio técnico y puede que estés en lo cierto y solo ofrezca este servicio concreto, pero es una interpretación nuestra. No me mojaría a interpretar algo que no dice el original. Quizás el servicio incluye otras tareas que no son técnicas y si nosotros concretamos algo general estaríamos excluyéndolas del servicio que debe proporcionar. Mi consejo es que si el cliente utiliza un término general, tú utilices un término general.
