PACKET FORMING AND TRANSFER UNIT
7.3.1 Operation
The unit consists of the eight station stacking head 2, the mobile rear contrast, the front mobile support 1, and the pusher 4.
Single products are introduced inside the compartment of the stacker head and, at every cycle, the mobile rear contrast 3 retracts by a distance equal to the product thickness. On completion of the stacking operation, the head 2 rotates 45° anti-clockwise. After two rotations the stacked products are aligned with the pusher 4, which transfers them to the corresponding gripper of the wrapping wheel. The movement of the pusher is followed by the movement of the counter-pusher coming from the wrapping wheel.
