Re-walking down a hallway

English to Portuguese Other Education / Pedagogy
It's about a club's handbook that is describing its rules. It was said that if a teen had a bad behaviour, the club would ask to 're-walking down a hallway'.

1. Pousar a cabeça na carteira e refletir;
2. Pagar uma multa por meio do sistema de fichas;
3. Colocar o aluno num local afastado da aula (durante um tempo limitado);

@Cássia I am not even going to guess. is it figurative? Is it literal? I just cannot get my head around it! In the draconic days when I was a schoolboy, if you were "caught" running down the corridor (usually because you were late), you were told "Go back and walk" - which you did... under the scrutinous gaze of the prefect or teacher. I reiterate - the souce text sounds very weird in deed! Punishment for what? Is it some sort of "running the gauntlet"? Are you "taunted by your peers"? Which country is it from? What sort of "club" - a "reform school"? A church youth club?.......I find it very intriguing and would love to know the answer :-)

I had no ideia too. I know it's about some punishment, but which one?
Nick Taylor Jul 24, 2020:
@Cássia Any more info? Never heard the expression before. Frankly it sounds strange and I have no idea what it means,
