Ryokuka Nakai
The last name NAKAI is quite common, but Ryokuka is unusual. These days people have unusual names, but seeing how you input these Japanese names using Chinese, it is possible that you did not input the name properly. Maybe you could check again?

Comment: "The name was quoted in a Chinese medical journal article. It is possible that the first name was incorrectly translated into Chinese. I believe this answer is correct. I also got the same answer from the Japanese-English pair, which is supported by a Japanese translator.
Thank you all for your help!

Japanese names are very difficult to render back from Chinese somewhat like Chinese names back from English. This is just a suggestion.
You should try Japanese to Chinese kudos forum.

: There are at least two, sometimes three, ways to pronouce a Japanese characters. The choice depends on the meaning or the usage. For 绿香, there is no other choice than Ryoku-ka.
