Using the Posts tab of a team allows you to communicate in the context of that team.

If you’re looking to add more features in SharePoint, it can be tricky to add pages and make them look good.
There are many factors to consider when deciding to create a Team or SharePoint site.
The largest difference is whether you are looking to collaborate with others.
If you are simply looking for a file repository that others can also access, manage, and edit, a SharePoint site may be best for you.
If you want to utilize other features such as a group conversation space, group task management, or note taking, a Team would be a great fit.
