Spanish term

en moneda de poder adquisitivo

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
Estados contables

El coeficiente aplicado para reexpresar las cifras del 31 de diciembre de 2018 en moneda de poder adquisitivo del 31 de diciembre de 2019 es 1,4765.
“en moneda de poder adquisitivo” sería “according to purchasing power of currency”?
Si alguien lo comprende y me lo puede explicar.
¡Gracias!

Sometimes, when you rewrite the whole sentence as I have, there is no one-for-one translation you can put in the answer box.

Phil May I suggest that you edit your answer's first field to make it compatible with your translation?

currency purchasing power

Currency purchasing power

Purchasing power is the value of a currency expressed in terms of the amount of goods or services that one unit of money can buy. Purchasing power is important because, all else being equal, inflation decreases the amount of goods or services you would be able to purchase.

In lucrative cash/Lucrative cash flow....

En los EUs seria este termine más usado para describir el dinero deseado por las adquisiciones.
Example sentence:

Me necessitan mis inversiones e forma de moneta de poder adquisitivo. I need my resources in the form of lucrative cash.

suggestion for the whole thing

I don't think "currency" is the right word, because there's no indication that this is about foreign exchange transactions.

I suggest:

"A coefficient of 1.4765 has been used to update the figures as at 31December 2018 to their purchasing power on 31 December 2019."

I assume this is a country with high inflation, and they divide the 2018 figures by the coefficient to get the 2019 ones.
