English term

pelvic belt

English Medical Medical (general)
Postpartum low back pain lowers quality of life (QOL) and interferes with childcare, so treating this condition is important. Therefore, we examined the effects between new mothers only wearing a pelvic belt and those who were treated with acupuncture combined with the wearing of a **pelvic belt** in a randomized controlled trial.

Should "pelvic belt" be "pelvic support belt" or "postpartum pelvic support belt"?
Or is "pelvic belt" acceptable?
Thank you!

either "postpartum pelvic support belt" or pelvic belt

but I think the first might be better as this is post partum UNLESS it's already clear from the context, then pelvic belt or pelvic support belt is all that's needed

also known as a "belly band"
