I think you are correct, Paul. I've looked some more into it and this seems to be somewhat common to appear in FGTS statements. I couldn't find the meaning of the initials either.

Ask a specialist accountant As mentioned in my answer, I advise asking a specialist accountant. There are explanations on the Web, from where I took my answer, but the best bet is to ask an accountant specialised in pensions. I could not find the meaning of the abbreviation anywhere.

SBPC

Those are the initials of a company the person used to work for. I've googled it and it's most likely the "Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência" or "Sociedade Brasileira de Patologia Clínica".

In essence, it means the person was "demitida sem justa causa". With some credit going towards SBPC, but you do not translate the abbreviation. So I left the abbreviation and added a translator note on the bottom of the page. "

Redundancy

It is probably not Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência here. Although I did not find the meaning of the abbreviation anywhere, it seems to mean that the person was made redundant. Best check with a specialist accountant or ask the client. If the client did work for the SBPC (Sociedade Brasileira) the whole thing changes.

Esse código significa que a pessoa foi demitida sem justa causa. Sendo assim, “Saque Dep” não significa que o seu FGTS foi sacado. Apenas significa que ele já está disponível para saque. ... Este significa que já está liberado o saque dos juros (JAM) que o seu FGTS rendeu.
