Remove also the pocket and hoist rope-end.
Dismantle the pocket at the rope-end so that the rope can fit through the trim.
It is easier to balance the spreader later if the pocket of each rope is placed at the same distance (A and B) from the rope-end.
Install the pocket at the end of a new rope on the ground and tighten it.
Fasten the adjustment screw detached from the skew to the pocket.
