La linea trasversale tratteggiata dovrebbe essere continua, perché si viene a trovare superiormente alla cute. Infatti l'ago inserito superiormente a sinistra fuoriesce in basso a sinistra per portarsi in alto a destra, penetrare e fuoriuscire in basso a destra. In tal modo, con la chiusura del punto (doppio) si viene appunto a formare una X. punti dati a X.
