Spanish term

prestaciones y condiciones que tengo por conveniencia

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general) general power of attorney

He encontrado "payments", "Allowances", "benefits".

Un millón de gracias por la ayuda

the consideration, terms and conditions that I deem to be appropriate

"Prestaciones" - several poss. meanings:

prestaciones sustantivo, femenino, plural (singular: prestación f)
features pl
performances pl
menos frecuente: benefits pl
capabilities pl
allowances pl
provisions pl
contributions pl
functions pl
supplies pl
payments pl
functionalities pl

"Payments" here - but I think that would be too narrow. "Consideration" means something of value given to the other party in exchange. Consideration can take various forms, including a monetary payment or a promise to do something.

For "condiciones":

neutral Andrew Bramhall : 'Consideration' might work if prefixed by 'pecuniary' in that case;//probably understand it as well as you do;

This from a POA where it's usual to be as "broad" as possible; "consideration" includes "pecuniary consideration"; Can I presume that you know what the term means?

Service performance and conditions I deem appropriate

"By virtue of this mandate, my appointed attorney-in-fact may, in accordance with the law, enter into all types and kinds of transactions, i.e, sell, exchange, mortgage, release mortgages, give antichresis( grants possession of, but not title to),to pledge in any other way, dispose of for free or against payment any and all property, whether movable or immovable, present or future property, with the power to fix the price and other service performances and conditions that I deem appropriate, and receive in all cases the sums, titles, certificates, credits or securities that may accrue to me as a result...".

"Prestaciones" = 'service performance' or yields over which the party has a say/influence.

neutral AllegroTrans : how does "service payment" fit into the context - i,e, of a POA to sell and dispose of property and assets?//meant to query "service performance" - my error

You have misquoted me. I said 'performance', not 'payment'; covering legal, land issues, etc.

agree Adrian MM. : payments or 'benefits in lieu'.

Thank you, Adrian!
neutral Andrew Bramhall : Not "convenient" as it sounds like a personal preference rather than an obligation, and "benefits in lieu/kind"...of what...?

neutral AllegroTrans : "Convenient" sounds wrong - it's about a conscious choice
