buyer's remorse

arrependimento = regret (about the agreement to purchase/provide services)

(https://www.infoescola.com/direito/direito-de-arrependimento...

FTC has something similar: "The Cooling-Off Rule gives you three days to cancel certain sales made at your home, workplace, or dormitory, or at a seller’s temporary location, like a hotel or motel room, convention center, fairground, or restaurant." Or maybe just "remorse" if it could include regret on the part of the one being contracted/hired and not just the buyer?
Example sentence:

Buyer’s remorse may be invoked to cancel this Agreement at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of this Agreement, excluding Sundays and Holidays.

Peer comment(s):

agree ezpz : This is the correct explanation, though I'd still use "cooling-off period" as the heading. I would use "buyer's remorse" to explain the legal validity of changing your mind and ending the contract.
