Lummiska (?)

Hi Sven,

Lummi is the language spoken by the Lummi Tribe in the Pacific Northwest of the United States (Washington State...where I live). My best guess is that Lummi would become lummiska in Swedish, although if you know the standards of how other Native American languages have been translated, that will help you determine what the best translation is. I'll keep looking.

agree Mats Wiman : Interesting! I would suggest lummi, i.e. no translation

After still more checking, I have found that the Lummi Tribe speak a dialect of the Salishan language.

Lummi

There is also a language called "Lummei" which is spoken by a Pygmy tribe in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is sometimes written as "Lummi",and as Mats suggested, it is usually referred to as just "Lummi" in Swedish documents about this area.
