Soll gewünschtenfalls die Viskosität noch weiter herabgesetzt werden, kann das umgebildete Polyäthylen erneut in Granulat-, Tabletten- oder Flockenform übergeführt, mit weiterer Peroxyverbindung vermischt und danach zur weiteren Umbildung schnell erhitzt werden.
