: 'In light of the request under entry number'; and "logged in as" in AMM's answer??? completely bonkers, this isn't about someone using a computer; yes it's an application, and ' with reference to.

AllegroTrans
: "In view of" is too literal; the right translation is along the lines of "with reference to"

Toni Castano
: "Application" and "request" are not the same, a point the two previous commentators have disregarded. An application (= solicitud) is the form that is filled out to make the corresponding request.

AllegroTrans
: Yes, good and concise. Argument about request v application is rather pedantic; skipping a literal word for "entrada" and putting "number" works imo

Thanks! Maybe there's a distinction in Spanish that doesn't exist in English.

: Also agree with Allegro; what is Toni C doing upbraiding AMM above when he uses 'application' and not 'request' anyway???

I think Kathryn is probably right, and 'entrada' means reference', but I'm not sure.

It's the header of a certificate issued by the public registry, but it lacks a more seamless and coherent structure.
application
a form used in making a request
Ah, the full stop doesn´t affect the rendering too much, that´s true. I just pointed it out for Carolina to know (because the source is faulty).
And whether the full stop is correct or not, it doesn't affect the translation.
1) Application is the right term here.
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/application
2 a : REQUEST, PETITION
an application for financial aid
b : a form used in making a request
filling out an application
2) "Entrada" means entry in this context. But the full stop is required. Take a look online.
